The Monsta, originating as a class project for the University of Oregon in 2023, is 15 page short-story style zine composed of vector based digital drawings synthesized via Adobe Illustrator. The objective of the project consisted of constructing a zine based off of the following book quotation:
"I'm going to give you the memory of a rainbow.”

Each image works together to tell a story that captures the feeling of finding peace and connection in unlikely spaces - whether said spaces are physical (like in a basement, next to a boiler room) or metaphorical (like confronting our inner shadows).
